The Citizenship by Investment Program in St. Kitts and Nevis is the longest established economic citizenship program in the world having been established in 1984. The Citizenship by Investment Program is legitimate, well regulated and enjoys international approval and acceptance.


What Are The Investment Requirements Of The St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship By Investment Program?


The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizen-by-Investment Program is defined by two investment options, both of which provide an economic contribution to the country. Foreign investors can choose from designated real estate or contribute to the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation ("SIDF", a public charity). Each investment option allows the St. Kitts and Nevis government to diversify its economic growth policy.


Contribution to the SIDF

The Foundation has been designated as an approved project, solely for the purpose of Citizenship by Investment. Foreign nationals, who contribute the qualifying amount starting at USD $250,000 and meet the other requirements, may apply for citizenship.

Investing in Real Estate

To qualify for citizenship under the real-estate option, the government requires an investment in designated real estate with a value of at least USD $400,000.


How Long Will The Application Process Take?


Once the application forms are submitted, the Government of St Kitts and Nevis will undertake a strict due diligence check on you, to ensure your suitability for the program. On the granting of citizenship, the funds must be transferred and where the real estate investment option was selected, title of the property will be transferred to you and it is at this stage that that you can apply for your St Kitts and Nevis passport.

It can take typically take between 3-6 months from the point of enquiring about citizenship to having citizenship granted and a passport issued.
